I would like to share, how to install Garmin Mobile XT version 5 on Symbian based phone.




First of all,
you need to download all needed installer

Proceed to the next steps

1. Connect your mobile phone to your computer/laptop
2. Choose "Mass Storage"
3. Run Garmin Mobile XT version 5.00.30 first
4. Choose your mobile phone memory card and install

Then

1. Run Garmin Mobile XT version 5.00.50
2. Choose your mobile phone memory card again and install

After that

1. Disconnect your mobile phone
2. Open "File Manager"
3. Go to "Garmin" folder and run GMobileXT.sis
4. Run GMobileXT from Applications
5. You need to get your serial key from authorized dealer to make your Garmin Mobile XT works
6. Else, you need to find another way
7. If you already registered, go to Applications >Garmin Mobile XT >Settings >System >Remote GPS >Select ‘Use Attached/Built-in GPS’ >Enable and it’s all done.

Generate your UnitID
Run Garmin Keygen 1.5 , paste out the UnitID there and click ‘generate’.
You will be given a software unlock code. Copy the code number.
Run notepad, paste down the code, and save the file as SW.UNL (not SW.UNL.txt)
Connect your PC with your mobile phone and copy the SW.UNL file to root directory where you install Garmin. In my case, "F:\Garmin"
Restart your Garmin Mobile XT. Done.
